STEM Workshops

ages vary

Registration is usually required.

From coding to engineering challenges to science exploration, our STEM workshops use children's innate curiosity to engage participants in practicing 21st century skills in a non-competative environment. The emphasis is on fun and instilling confidence in participants

Activities include:

  • Hour of Code

  • Engineering Challenges

  • Experiments in physics and chemistry

  • Art, games and demonstrations to facilitate learning about animals and ecology.

While most STEM Workshops are geared to children ages 6 and up, Sensory Activities introduce children ages 2 to 5 to basic science and encourage observational skills.

Check out our events calendar for exact days and times of STEM Workshops or Sensory Activities

Featured Children's Programs

To enhance our in house programming, we often invite professional performers or presenters to our Children's Room.

Your children might meet some rare and unusual animals, watch a live performance while dancing and signing along or learn to relax during a yoga class in these special events.
